How does one start a book club? Email friends, neighbors, and friends of neighbors until six fabulous, professional women agree to slog through 500 or so pages and then get together once a month to drink and eat. Are we supposed to discuss the book, too?
First up on our reading list: Midwives, by Chris Bohjalian. I'll let you know how it turns out, but I have to go read now!
