Friday kicked off the weekend the right way - by successfully surprising a friend after months of planning! Almost a decade ago(!), Naomi and I were randomly assigned as freshman year roommates at Syracuse University. Three years later, we were still living together, and now, we're living in the same city again, with our men and our dogs.
Naomi and Anthony are getting married on Long Island in September, but met and fell in love here in Charm City. It only made sense to bring a little Baltimore flavor to the festivities. A brainstorming session with other members of the bridal party didn't take long to come up with the idea for a surprise lingerie shower at N's favorite martini bar. Her sister was even able to fly in from New York with N being none the wiser.
